gosh I remember the year I was in band and it was summer practice, and the cicadas were everywhere, and we weren’t allowed to break set. So when they landed on our face or on our hands or mess with our instruments, we weren’t allowed to move. I got over my fear of cicadas that year.

Birthday Presents
Random completely childish thought this morning, but I decided not to spend money on birthday presents for my friends anymore or if I do then they won’t get Christmas presents. The reasons being:
1. Saving for my study abroad trip to Japan (hopefully I get chosen)
2. I don’t like spending money
3. I’m not good at picking out gifts for people
4. Friends normally don’t get me both a Christmas present and a Birthday Present (I’m a Christmas Eve baby lol)
So yeah, that was my morning realization as the sun rose
